How do I choose my hair color?
Part hair from temple to temple pulling the top half up. The hair below the part line will be the color you will want to match. Because the extension is positioned in the middle of the head it does not need to be the exact color. You will be amazed how the extension blends with the natural hair.
Can I use heat for styling on my extension?
Avoid any high heat such as, blow drying, hot water, etc. on the extension bond (base). Treat it like your own, because Hidden Hair is made with the highest quality human hair, you can shampoo, condition, blow dry, curl, flat iron part and even wear it up. No special brushes or tools required.
My extension has loosened up, is this normal?
Yes. The Stick It bond was developed to stick to the natural hair and not the scalp. After a few washes it will loosen. Do not worry. It is still attached to the hair as designed to be and will not fall out.
My hair is above my shoulders. Can I wear Hidden Hair?
We recommend that the hair be at least shoulder length in order for the extension to blend and look natural.
Can my hair be too thick to use Hidden Hair?
Unfortunately, yes. It was created for fine to medium hair. It will not blend with the natural thick hair.
Is the bond suppose to stick to my hair or scalp?
Our bond is specially designed to attach to the hair and not to the scalp to create a flexible natural flow of the hair. This will allow the extension to grow out naturally with your own hair.
What type of shampoo should I use?
Avoid using a volumizing shampoo. Any salon quality shampoo will be fine to use.
What type of conditioner should I use?
A salon quality detangling conditioner is recommended for regular use. Not all “moisturizing conditioners” will have the ability to detangle and keep the hair from matting.
Do I need to trim the extension?
Yes. This is human hair and like our natural hair the hair will begin to split after time. Be aware, it will not grow back.
Can I swim in the ocean with my hair extension?
The salt water may break down the bond which can cause the extension to fall out.
Will chlorine have an effect on my extension?
Swimming in chlorinated water does not effect the bond of the extension to the natural hair. The chlorine will have the same effect on the hair extension as it does your natural hair. Always follow with rinse and condition after swimming.
What does remi hair mean?
The cuticle layer of the hair is intact running the same direction from top to bottom. Resulting in beautiful, tangle free, shiny hair that moves and flows like your own with no matting.
My extension is not sticking to my hair in a small area. What can I do?
Do a touch up. Apply a small amount of glue on your finger place it on the lifted area.
Can I use too much glue?
Yes. Be careful not to go overboard especially during touch ups. It will make removal hard.
