How do I choose my hair color?
Part hair from temple to temple: pulling the top half up. The hair below the part line from the middle to the ends will be the color you will want to match. You should not choose the color of your roots. Since the extension is positioned in the middle of the head it does not need to be the exact color. You will be amazed how the extension blends with your natural hair.
Color charts and celebrity pictures should be used as a guide only. Due to the variances of your monitor’s resolution the color quality may differ. Please note: when dealing with 100% human hair: colors may vary slightly from batch to batch.
Can I use heat styling products on my extension?
Yes, treat it like your own hair. Since Hidden Hair extensions are made with the highest quality human hair, you can blow dry, curl, and flat iron the extension. We recommend low settings to preserve the integrity of the hair.
Should I cut my Hidden Hair extension?
Yes! We highly recommend having your extension professionally cut by your stylist so that the hair blends with your current hair style. This will help ensure the best results for naturally looking hair.
Also, being that the extensions are made of human hair; the hair can split after time. To keep the hair looking fresh you’ll want to have it trimmed as needed.
Please note: these extensions will not grow back.
My hair is above my shoulders. Can I wear Hidden Hair?
We recommend that the hair be at least shoulder length in order for the extension to blend and look natural.
Can my hair be too thick to use Hidden Hair?
Unfortunately, yes. Hidden Hair was created for fine to medium hair. It will not blend properly with naturally thick hair.
Can I color my extension?
Since the hair is already processed; we do not recommend processing it again. However, if you decide to color the extension; use semi-permanent colors to deposit color only. Do not bleach or lighten the extension.
Can I wash my Hidden Hair extension?
Yes, please see “Hair Care” for instructions.
Can I brush my hair with the extension in?
Yes. Use caution and brush gently.
Can Hidden Hair extensions damage my own hair?
No. Hidden Hair one piece clip-in extensions will not damage your own hair. They are a terrific alternative to braiding, weaving and adhesive hair extensions.
Please note: Excessive pulling and tugging on the anchor can lead to breakage of your own hair.
Can I swim with my hair extension in?
We do not recommend swimming with your extension in.
Can I sleep with my extension in?
Although, you can sleep with your extension in; we do not recommend it. Sleeping with your extension in may cause tangles and put stress on the anchor causing breakage.
What does Remi hair mean?
The cuticle layer of the hair is intact running the same direction from top to bottom. Resulting in beautiful, tangle free, shiny hair that moves and flows like your own.
