Shampoo
SHAMPOO WITH LUKE WARM OR COLD WATER, DO NOT USE HOT WATER!
Hot water and high heat will break down the Stick It Bond and shorten the wear time.
Do not use a shampoo or conditioner that is volumizing. This will cause the hair to mat and tangle. Using a detangling shampoo and conditioner is recommended.
If any additional matting occurs we recommend changing your conditioner until the hair extension is smooth and manageable.
Brushing
Always keep your extension tangle free. Brushing gently and avoiding any excess root tension The more careful you treat your extension the longer it will last.
Styling
Avoid any excess heat on the Stick It Bond. It is not necessary to fully dry the underneath area of the extension base. Avoid root tension while using styling tools.
Cleaning
For long lasting beautiful hair extensions, it is important to keep your extension clean. We recommend using professional detangling shampoo and conditioner with lukewarm water at least 3 times a week. Always shampoo after swimming or exercising. Sweat and chlorine can cause dirt build up that can follow with unwanted tangles.
Blow drying
Avoid high heat or harsh brushing while drying the hair. It is not necessary to fully dry the underneath area of the extension base.
Sleeping
It is always good to brush your hair and put it into braids before going to sleep. This will avoid any unwanted tangles.
